If you believe what you read, everything causes cancer. Whilst putting toxins on your skin may well increase your chances, I feel that you have to be predisposed to getting cancer for it to have a contributory effect. There are many people who smoke throughout their lives without getting cancer. There are others that work out in the sun all their lives without sunblock and without skin cancer and no doubt there are people who use every beauty product available without cancer. However, this is not conclusive proof that smoking, uv rays and cosmetics don’t cause cancer. Like many thinks, it could be a time-bomb just waiting to go off.

Sorry that this does not adequately answer your question but I feel that not enough is known about cancer to answer accurately (and truthfully).
